Five penalties, one keeper, sudden death if you tie. Pick your corner, set your power, and try not to think about it too much.

How to play
You alternate between taking penalties and saving them. When shooting, drag back from the ball to set direction and power, then release. When keeping, choose a direction the instant the striker plants their foot. Best of five, then sudden death.
Power and accuracy trade against each other. A shot at maximum power that misses the target is worse than a placed shot at seventy percent, because the keeper cannot save what they cannot reach but the frame of the goal saves plenty.
Where to actually aim
Real penalty statistics and this game agree on one thing: the top corners are close to unsaveable and also where nearly all missed penalties end up. The high-value target is the side netting about a third of the way up โ far enough from the keeper's standing position that a dive cannot reach it, low enough that you are not relying on perfect power.
Vary your side. The keeper in this game learns from your pattern within a shootout, so three shots to the same corner will be read by the fourth. Alternating sides is worth more than perfecting one shot.
Frequently asked questions
Can I stop the keeper reading my aim?
Hold your drag longer before releasing. A slow, late release gives away less than dragging immediately to full power and holding there.
What happens after sudden death ties?
Sudden death continues one round at a time until one side scores and the other misses, exactly like a real shootout.
