Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026-09-04
This policy explains what Play Zone (https://play-zone.pages.dev) collects, why, and what control you have over it. Plain language, no filler.
Who we are
Play Zone is an independently operated website offering free browser games. You can reach the operator at YOUR-EMAIL@example.com.
Information we collect directly
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not run contact forms that store data on our servers. If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it.
Some games save your high score, your settings or your in-progress board using your browser's local storage. That data stays on your own device, is not transmitted to us, and is not readable by us. Clearing your browsing data deletes it permanently.
Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by advertising.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so does not stop you using the site, though some games may forget your settings.
Embedded games
Games marked Original are served by us and load no third-party resources. Other games load inside an iframe from a third-party distributor's servers. Once a game loads, that distributor may set its own cookies, show its own advertising and collect usage data under its own privacy policy, which we do not control. If this matters to you, the Original games are the ones with no third-party involvement at all.
Analytics
We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count page views and see which games are popular. Where analytics is used, it records aggregate information such as page URL, referrer, approximate country, and device type. It is not used to identify individuals.
Legal bases and your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal basis for non-essential cookies is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via the consent controls or your browser settings. Essential functionality relies on our legitimate interest in operating the site.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Because we hold almost no personal data, in most cases the honest answer to an access request will be that we hold nothing beyond any email you sent us. Email YOUR-EMAIL@example.com to make a request.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.
Children
This site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention and security
Email correspondence is kept only as long as needed to deal with the matter raised. Local storage data lives on your device until you clear it. The site is served over HTTPS.
External links
Pages here may link to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any site we link to, and this policy does not apply once you leave.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top will be updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
