How to play
Each circuit is a timed lap through a city course with tight corners and traffic. Your score comes from lap time plus drift points, so simply driving cleanly will not top the leaderboard โ you need to be sideways through the corners while still carrying speed out of them.
Nitro recharges as you drift, which creates the core loop of the game: drift to earn boost, spend boost on the straights, arrive at the next corner faster than is comfortable.
Getting the drift to hold
A drift is started with the handbrake and held with the throttle, not with the steering. Tap the handbrake as you turn in, then immediately release it and modulate the accelerator. If you keep the handbrake down through the whole corner, the car scrubs off all its speed and the combo breaks.
Counter-steering is what keeps the slide alive. Once the back end steps out, gently steer into the slide rather than against your intended direction. Beginners fight the car and spin; the correct input usually feels like doing less, not more.
Frequently asked questions
Does hitting traffic end the run?
Contact does not usually end the run, but it breaks your drift combo and costs you significant time. On a scored lap, one collision is often worth more than several seconds.
Which car should I pick?
Lighter rear-wheel-drive cars are far easier to hold in a drift and are the right choice while you are learning. High-grip cars post better clean lap times but make combos much harder to sustain.
